Welcome to my creative outlet! Here you'll find samples of my writing as well as examples of my work in social media, digital/multi-media design, and audio/video production.
A little about myself: I am originally from the city of St. Paul, MN - one of the greatest places on Earth if you ask me. In the Fall of 2008, I enrolled at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI to obtain a B.A. in Broadcasting and Electronic Communications. There, I not only gained a solid foundation, but also developed a wide range of skills and experience including multimedia editing and design, writing, production, and much more. Since graduating in May of 2012, I have worked as a freelance producer, a social media manager, and as a customer operations representative in the logistics industry. I moved to Chicago in early 2014 and have very much enjoyed calling the 'city of broad shoulders' my second home ever since. Currently, I work in sales/business development for a healthcare company. I'm also pursuing pursuing my MBA with a concentration in Management at DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. Looking at the bigger picture, I am very Interested in the development and implementation of business process improvement to increase revenue and optimize workplace efficiency.
As I have transitioned from one profession and one academic pursuit to the next, I have learned a tremendous amount about my strengths and interests as I continue to grow and develop as a person. My goal with this site is to showcase some of my other, more creative traits - the very same skills that aren't quite as easy to demonstrate on paper. Though I still have much to learn, I am truly excited to forge my own path in hopes of leading a life of creative fulfillment.
Feel free to browse around! Please refer to my résumé for a more detailed summary of my work and class experience. Lastly, visit my contact page so as to follow up with any inquiries and to connect with me through various social media. I am always seeking to gain useful connections and I greatly appreciate the opportunity to network with other like minded professionals.
Thanks for your time and enjoy!
